Housing For All Calvert (HFAC) is a coalition of organizations, agencies, church congregations and concerned citizens who are working together to assure that housing is available for all Calvert citizens.

The average home price in Calvert County in June 2005 was $372,905.

Among those who are priced out of the housing market are:

Teachers and safety professionals (police and firemen).

Medical technicians, people employed in non-profit organizations and service sector employees.

Our own children, who were born in Calvert County, typically can’t afford to live here.

Young couples and single-income families.

Those on fixed incomes: such as senior citizens, the disabled.
